running flash player on 64 bit system

I am using windows vista 64 bit system on a HP computer. I am using adoble verson 9.  I have been told that adoble verson 10 supports a 64 bit system.  I have tried to install adoble verison 10 which has updated to verison 10.

questions:

1 Does aboble verison 10 support a 64 bit system.

2 How do I get computer system to up grade from verison 9 to verison 10.
