Vista

I would like to install my copy of Vista onto my Sony laptop, I want to to get rid of all the pre-installed software, most of which I do not use.  I have my own copy & Registration Key for Vista.

Essentially, I want to format the C Drive, how can I delete all contents from the C Drive, thanks in advance, Esther

I would first check to see

I would first check to see whether there is a folder with all the Sony drivers in it.

If so you should copy it elsewhere first as you will probably need them.

Once you've done that, just boot from your Vista install CD and start the install.

One of the options you will eventually see is to formay your drive. Choose that and the old stuff is history.
